Pearl Ex mica pigments

Metallic powder pigment. The quantity contained in this jar is 14g (3g for small jars). We recommend preparing a small dose of color by mixing 4 parts of Pearl Ex pigment with one part of gum arabic, then slowly adding water drop by drop until the desired density is achieved.

These pigments are excellent for writing with both fine-pointed and broad-edge nibs. The colors are very bright and opaque, they do not oxidize, they resist light. They can be mixed with other mediums, additives, paints and adhesives to produce a metallic effect. The dry powder sticks to a layer of vinyl glue.

To prepare the color you need to buy gum arabic which performs as a glue and binder.
