Black pigmented ink with good resistance to water and a fair degree of fineness in writing (if used on quality paper).
Higgins claims it is waterproof and indeed when wet it loses only a tiny amount of color. Our test consisted of getting it wet and passing over it with a brush. For brushes, ruling pens, technical drawing pens and airbrushes.
For nibs, we suggest you to avoid using waterproof inks, because you can't get good hairlines.
