Handwritmic Cola pen E1

This pen takes its name from a type of pen that calligraphers made with a Coca Cola can. The Handwritmic pen has nothing to do with DIY because it is industrialized.

First of all, it is made of brass, with a sheet that is more robust than the homemade Cola pens but thinner than similar pens on the market. The edge of the pen has been sharpened by hand. The result is a very pleasant, flowing writing.

Shape: curved and elongated shape. This is a pen very similar to the traditional, long and sharp ruling pen, which is no longer in production.

In our opinion it is easier to use than the old traditional ruling pen.

Characteristics: it is suitable for expressive calligraphy. In particular, if you write on the tip you get a fine and light handwriting that can be alternated with thicker strokes when you use the whole edge of the pen. This pen behaves very similarly to a ruling pen. It can be a valid substitute for the traditional ruling pen which is not available anymore.

Difference between E1 and E2: equal length but E1 less wide. In terms of writing, the E1 produces less contrasted strokes (more homogeneous), the E2 has more contrasted strokes, the thick strokes are wider.

Recommended inks: dyes, fountain pen inks (any color and any brand), calligraphy inks, crystal inks, sumi ink (good quality Indian ink). Acrylics are not suitable.
