Tachikawa penholders

Japanese penholder with rubber finger rest. It has more body than the usual wooden penholders (larger diameter). The nib holder is not made of metal but has a new rubber mechanism that comes in two types of diameters: for regular nibs and for tube nibs.

The light blue penholder has a cap which protects the nib so you can carry it without it getting damaged.

Please note: due to differences in the diameter of nibs, even of the same type and brand, not all nibs lock perfectly on this penholder. The only nibs that are 100% guaranteed for this are:

• all Tachikawa nibs

• the Zebra nibs

• the Maru-pen nibs and the crow quill nibs.
