Exceptionnal quality japanese nib. One of the preferred for Spencerian.
For those who like to write with a straight penholder we advise you to use the Tachikawa penholder.
Most of the times calligraphers prefer to use an oblique penholder with a metal adaptable flange.
Barbara Calzolari’s review:
Grade 8
Needs to be burned several times and grease must be removed with toothpaste or a cleaning product.
Writes fine and medium/fine hairlines.
Medium flexibility.
Holds a lot of ink.
Excellent for beginners learning to write Spencerian and Copperplate with small contrast.
Perfectly fits into the Handwritmic CLASSIC oblique penholder and Barbara’s penholder.
