Black paste ink, 100 ml tube. Produced by Boku in Nara (Japan). With synthetic glue as a binder.
This black concentrated sumi paste, diluted in water (better if distilled) allows you to make ink when needed and has an exceptional duration since it can be diluted up to 60 times.
• n.9 dark purple black
To be used diluted 2 to 60 times. If diluted 2-3 times it produces a black with purple reflections (according to the manufacturer's declaration).
• n.8 bluish black
To be used diluted 4 to 60 times. If diluted 4-5 times it produces a black with a bluish tint, if diluted 20 times or more, it produces a transparent and bright bluish black (according to the manufacturer's declaration). Since the particles are not so small, it is not advisable to dilute less than 4 times.
• n. 7 brownish purple
To be used diluted up to 60 times. If diluted 2-3 times it produces a black with brown reflections, if diluted 20 times it becomes brown with purple reflections (according to the manufacturer's declaration).
The differences in color are declared by the manufacturer for the practice of shodo.
