Canson C à grain white medium grain paper of 224 gsm.

The name "C" à grain® refers to this paper’s slightly grained texture that allows the artist to quickly achieve subtle effects of depth as well as shading between shadow and light.

White paper with medium grain, the surface is slightly marked. This paper is suitable for expressive calligraphy, as the slightly more marked surface allows the stroke to be grainy. Not one of the finest papers (it is not pure cotton), it is an all-purpose paper that nevertheless finds use for semi-definitive work or large lay-out that require a better, more sustained paper than sketch paper.
