Medieval style 11 x 17 envelope / card

Very elegant cream-colored envelopes and cards. Soft cotton paper with untrimmed edges. For invitations, greetings or correspondence.

We tried them out for you and these are our impressions:

• Fine pointed nib: the envelope gives better results with the thin strokes.

• Broad edged nib: excellent stroke sharpness with both black ink (Handwritmic, Higgins, iron gall) and colored ink (crystal walnut ink, some Herbin inks, Handwritmic ruby red).

• Quill and reed pen: to improve the sharpness, use sandarac on the paper or avoid the abundance of ink on the nib.
