Osprey replacement nib units

Osprey fountain pens are very "user friendly" because they are made so that it is possible to change the nib unit. If you want to use a different nib size you do not need to buy a new pen. The nibs available are:

• Ultra-flex 2-tone size EEF, EF, F, M, B.

Made of steel, with gold detail, they have extreme elasticity. They are characterized by an extremely thin line with the EEF, EF and F nibs and a thicker line (which is obtained by pressing on the nib). The widest line is obtained with the B. Obviously, the thin line also gradually thickens with the M and B nibs. The size of the writing depends on the choice of nib, smaller with the EEF, EF or F nib and larger with the M and B nib. These tips are not removable, they do not allow you to detach the nib, and it is not even necessary, since you can clean them by rinsing them under water.

• Titanium ultra-flex.

They are more flexible than Ultra-flex 2-tone nibs, they are very smooth but lose a little sharpness in the fine lines.

• Zebra G titanium.

Attention: this is a calligraphy nib mounted on a fountain pen. Unlike other nibs, this one separates from the feeder for washing. Using this nib requires several precautions.

Pay particular attention to the maintenance of the Zebra G titanium nib. Instructions are attached to the product. If it gets damaged you can buy a replacement nib. You can also use a normal Zebra G nib. See related products below.

Recommended inks for the Zebra G Titanium nib: Hamburg Cagliostro Black, Waterman Black, Pilot Hiroshizuku Black, Pilot Namiki Black. We are currently testing the use of the colored Hamburg inks.
