It is guaranteed as non bleeding if you use a good ink such as Handwritmic black ink, Pelikan 4001, Higgins Eternal, or iron gall ink.

Because of the relatively light weight paper, you can keep a guideline underneath the sheet, thus avoiding having to draw lines with a pencil.

The guidelines are printed on the front and back (different) on sturdy cardstock. They feature 6-4-6 guidelines (x-height 4 cm) and 9-6-9 (x-height 6 cm) both vertically and horizontally. On the front you can find the scoring without line spacing (distance between lines) while on the back you can find a minimum of line spacing. So with these four pages, anyone who wants to practice with copperplate finds the guidelines ready to slide under the writing paper.
