Kaweco Lunar Sport fountain pen shadow green

Houston, we have a new series: Kaweco new LUNAR SPORT takes a giant leap into the standard range, shining in two stunning hues. While the colour Light Green has a softer shimmer to it, just like moonlight itself, the Shadow Green is more reminiscent of cool spring nights and blooming flower buds. Green and bronze hues go hand in hand with each other via a fascinating colour-changing iridescent pearl effect, depending on how the light meets the pen, leaving room for fascinating contrasts.

The series’ two colour variants embody a literal play of light and shadow. The dark base colour of our Shadow Green lets the colour effects pop, while one can see a more subtle display with Light Green. The light ABS material makes the pen feel almost weightless, making it effortless to write for long durations. Of course the Lunar is still as robust as all our famous Sport models despite this.  

The pocket fountain pen only measures 10.5 cm when closed, therefore it can easily be taken anywhere. With the cap attached, it grows to a normal size of 13 cm. The pen is made of high quality plastic.

You can individualize your pen by choosing the nib you like best. Five different nib sizes are available, ranging from extra fine to extra broad. While the extra fine nib (EF) is suitable for small and fine handwriting, the extra broad (BB) nib is often used for large, dramatic signatures. On top of that, we are proud to offer you five more specific calligraphy nibs (1.1, 1.5, 1.9, 2.3, twin) for writing in a cursive hand like italic. Replacement nibs can also be purchased separately. The standard nib can be unscrewed and replaced.

This fountain pen works with Kaweco cartridges (also Pelikan) or can be filled with ink by purchasing the mini or the universal converter (new from Kaweco).
