“Writing pictures” is part of the trilogy that Denise Lach imagined and designed to express her imagination and ability to create signs and shapes. For us it is a treasure rich of beautifully illustrated ideas. The text is in German but it is very short and easily translated, where the reader is very interested, with an online translator.

Lots of ideas and images (150) for compositions that originate from drawing and the use of many different tools. There are many works cut out of paper. The compositions all develop in the square and are characterized by extreme variety, liveliness, colours, signs and different textures. The book presents a subdivision by graphic elements such as: the line, the point, the contrasts, the contours, etc. Denise Lach is one of the most famous calligraphers internationally, she studied at the Basel graphic school, she has written many books (this is the most recent of the trilogy), she currently lives in Alsace (France).
